privacy notice
Who this notice covers
This notice describes information handled through the whatnext records website. For questions about your information, use our contact page or email [email protected].
Inquiries and music submissions
Our contact form collects your name, email, subject, and message. Music submissions also include your artist name and music link, and any genre or message you choose to provide. We use these details to handle your inquiry, evaluate your music, and communicate with you about it. Required fields are needed to process the form. Do not send passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information.
Forms deliver these details to our email inboxes, rather than publishing them on the website. Email-delivery and mailbox providers process and store messages as part of delivery and correspondence. People handling inquiries or evaluating submissions may access the relevant messages. Sending a form is not a newsletter subscription.
Website operation
Requests expose technical information such as an IP address, requested page, and browser information to the website host and any delivery services in use. The application uses IP-derived request counters to limit spam and abuse. Hosting, security, and email services may keep operational logs and backups. These services may process information in countries other than your own.
Pre-saves and music services
Spotify pre-save links open the provider authorization flow. Review the permissions shown: depending on the campaign, these can include saving music, following an artist, future-release saves, and optional email collection. Listening links and social links open other services.
If you choose to connect Apple Music on this site, we load Apple MusicKit. Apple handles account authorization; we do not ask for your Apple password. To request your pre-save, your Apple Music authorization token and the release ID pass through our server to Amuse. This application does not intentionally log or persist that token. Amuse handles the campaign and release-day action. The confirmation indicates Amuse accepted the request, not that unreleased music is already in your library.
Amuse may make campaign information or fan details available to the artist or label according to the permissions and options you choose and the campaign settings. Do not opt into optional marketing unless you want it. These services have their own privacy notices: Amuse, Apple Music, and Spotify.
You can manage or revoke connected-app access through your music service. Revoking access does not automatically delete information already held by a provider; contact that provider about deletion.
Cookies and choices
See our cookie notice. The website application does not install advertising or analytics scripts for ordinary browsing. Apple MusicKit loads only after you choose to connect. Music services can use their own cookies and storage when you interact with them. This application does not change its behavior in response to a Do Not Track signal; external services follow their own settings and notices.
Retention and requests
We retain correspondence and submissions as needed to handle them, maintain relevant business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Provider logs, mailbox copies, and backups can have separate retention periods. To ask about access, correction, deletion, or other rights available under your local law, contact us using the details above. We may need to verify your identity. Some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons; provider-held information may require a separate request to that provider.
Children and changes
These forms are not intended to collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it. Updates to this notice appear here with a revised date. Check it before sending information or connecting a music account.
