jam cola’s “in the wind” was originally written for an unknown collective, but the demo went untouched. He later polished and released the track as his debut single. There have been two versions released to streaming services. The original track was briefly available and featured tweaked lyrics and robotic vocals while the second is re-recorded and mixed much better. The lyrics seem to touch on relationship struggles and deep emotional pain, but it is intended to be analogous with a specific period of time in his life in which he experienced similar emotional trauma.
