“storm” by jam cola was originally intended to be an interlude for his project, Love Hill. The track focuses on instruments rather than lyrics. The repetitive chant throughout the verse is blended with strums and hums, resulting with a beautiful construction of song. The name “storm” is never mentioned in the song, only inferred. It sets the scene dry and uninteresting, but quickly melts and begins raining guitar strums. This flurry is cut short by chants. Walking and talking in the light rain soon turns to downpour. The drums clash, the strums fly, and the hums glisten in the sun.
